A Canadian tourist was shot and killed Monday while visiting the Teotihuacán pyramids in Mexico, according to local authorities.

A gunman shot dead ‌a Canadian woman as he opened fire at Mexico's Teotihuacan pyramids on Monday before killing himself, authorities said, in a rare attack at a major tourist attraction.

Jasso later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said, and security officials found a gun, a knife and ammunition.
