What does it mean to be a limited code? Is there really something in between a full code and a DNR? There sure is! Unfortunately, this is not always explained very well, and it isn’t always properly utilized though. This is something that can be very helpful for someone who may want intubation if their lungs worsen, but may never want cardiac compressions if their heart stops.
