The Kalabari tradition where the groom gifts the bride a box of expensive wrappers, jewelry, bags, lingerie etc. The bride’s family now opens the box to inspect every item to be sure they’re complete. They call the names of the items and show it to everyone present, being dramatic while at it, as usual 😂😂. This tradition is called Igbe Finji.
