Remembering Music on Instagram: "Matt Mauser – America’s Got Talent 2021 Matt Mauser’s AGT audition became unforgettable because of the story behind his voice. Singing in honor of his late wife, Christina — who tragically passed in the Kobe Bryant helicopter crash — every note carried real grief, love, and resilience. The judges and viewers weren’t moved by vocal power alone, but by the life lived behind the lyrics. A reminder that the most powerful performances come from singers who truly live

Singing . Singer . viralsing on Instagram: "When Matt Mauser walked onto that stage, nobody knew the weight he carried. He had lost his wife — the love of his life — in the same crash that took Kobe Bryant. 💔 But instead of giving in to silence, he turned his grief into a song. Every lyric, every breath, felt like a conversation with her spirit. By the end, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room — not even Simon’s. 🕯️ This wasn’t just an audition. Explaining Vocals on Instagram: "Matt Mauser is a singer and educator who spent much of his life performing locally and teaching music before stepping onto the national stage. Music was always central to his life, but it became something deeper after the tragic loss of his wife Christina in the 2020 helicopter crash that also took the lives of Kobe Bryant and others. Rather than chasing fame, Mauser used music as a way to process grief and honor her memory, carrying years of life experience into
