Chest wounds shouldn’t suck! A chest seal is a very specific item that has only one use: to treat a sucking chest wound. A sucking chest wound is when air is sucked into the chest through a new hole other than the trachea caused by a penetrating injury. The only way to fix it is to seal the hole—with a chest seal.
