Over 3400 years old, this diadem is attributed to the New Kingdom of Ancient Egypt, during the reign of Thutmose III in the 18th Dynasty. It is made of gold, carnelian, opaque turquoise glass, and decayed crizzled glass, and depicts a pair of gazelle heads. It measures 48 x 3 cm (18 7/8 x 1 1/8 in).
