Peep: Our “Decimal System” is “base-Ten”, where the digits are {0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9} & the place values of multiples of Ten. But “Binary-Code” is “Base-Two”. The ONLY digits are 0 & 1. So in binary, the place values are multiples of two instead of multiples of ten. That means: “10” = “two”, “100” = “four” & “1000” = “eight”. SO, depending on your base, all same numbers could have different values. If the numbers are coming from measurement, then different bases will get entirely different number
