This is a quick breakdown of my process for animating twitch emotes in Live2D. 1. Start with your art! I do a 2000sq. pixel canvas, with 300 DPI just to make sure I can print if I ever want to. Draw your art like normal, but be a bit more careful as you work so you can easily separate layers. 2. Cut the model into chunks (I show my personal cutting in the video).
