📣 The #MICrONS project has released an unprecedented map of the mouse visual cortex. 🧠 In a tour de force, researchers led by neuroscientists from the Allen Institute for Brain Science, Baylor College of Medicine, and Princeton University applied electron #Microscopy #EM for high-resolution anatomic imaging of more than a cubic millimeter of brain, resolving ~200,000 cells and 523 million synapses. 🔬 Excitingly, the team also used #Multiphoton calcium imaging to capture a correlative in vivo
